He studied at the University of Freiburg and continued his education at the Trauma Surgery Clinic of Hannover Medical School. He also has studies in emergency and sports medicine, and has a degree as a Health Economist. He has worked as Chief Physician in the most prestigious medical centers in Germany, and has a Certificate in Foot Surgery from the German Association for Orthopaedic Foot Surgery (DAF).
